Higher Brake Farm Stud is situated in the beautiful North Devon countryside was established by Jesse & Mike in 2021. Mike is a qualified DIP WCF registered farrier that specialises in remedial shoeing and is particularly interested in laminitis rehabilitation. ​ Jesse graduated University with a 2:1 upper class honours degree in Business Studies and was working in the Veterinary Sales industry however, when she was put on furlough during COVID she put her full commitment into producing, breeding and training sports ponies. Some of the ponies she has produced have won Horse of the Year Show, Royal Windsor International Horse Show, European and British Championships and many more. Together they have sold ponies to Norway, Italy, Sweden, Ireland, Belgium and throughout GB where they have gone on to be successful ponies in fantastic homes.​ With Mike specialising in remedial shoeing the business has expanded to rehabilitating injuries specialising in hoof related issues.
