Higher Brake Farm Stud is situated in the beautiful North Devon countryside was established by Jesse & Mike in 2021. Although Jesse graduated University with a 2:1 upper class honours degree in Business Studies horses were always her passion. She now operates a successful business specialising in Sports Ponies. She has competed competitively in all disciplines from Eventing to Showing in hand but since her Pony Club days Mounted Games has always been her favourite.
She has produced a number of ponies to not only qualify but ones that have also gone champion at Horse of the Year Show, Royal Windsor International Horse Show, European and British Championships and many more. She has sold ponies to Norway, Italy, Sweden, Ireland, Belgium and throughout GB where they have gone on to be successful ponies in fantastic homes. Mike is a qualified DIP WCF registered farrier that specialises in remedial shoeing and is particularly interested in laminitis rehabilitation his expertise and knowledge is very respected from a number of professionals including a variety of Veterinary surgeons. He was also an international rider representing England on a number of occasions and has a few British titles.
